During Into The Great Wide Open, the beautiful Vlieland will again be completely taken over by festival visitors, musicians and artists. There is also plenty to do for the little ones. This makes Into The Great Wide Open the perfect weekend away with the family.
Friday
At 16: 00 hour you board one of the traditional ships. The skipper then sets sail for Vlieland, literally sailing towards the sunset. During the crossing, the ship's cook also puts a cup of richly filled soup and a bowl of sandwiches on the table. Against 21: The ship will dock at Vlieland for 00 hours.
Saturday
An extensive breakfast is available on Saturday morning. Then you disembark directly on the island and you can enjoy all the beauty that the festival has to offer until the early hours of the morning. For example, go wild at an open-air concert or a performance by up-and-coming talent. Or join a workshop and discover your hidden talents! After a beautiful festival day you will return to the ship.
Sunday
Another delicious breakfast awaits on Sunday. The skipper tries to leave Vlieland as late as possible, so that you can experience as much of Into The Great Wide Open as possible. After the last horn has sounded, the ship sails back to Harlingen to moor around 16: 00.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
