The Artemis - named after the goddess of the hunt - was built in Norway in 1926 for whaling and operated in that capacity mainly in the Northern and Southern Arctic Seas until the late XNUMXs.
In the XNUMXs she was converted into a freighter and sailed between Asia and South America until she was no longer competitive and was withdrawn from service.
In 2001 the Artemis got new owners, who rebuilt her thoroughly and turned them back into an elegant sailing ship with a lot of love for details.
