Impressive schooner
The Reade Swan (formerly Noorderlicht) is an impressive two-masted schooner with high gaff top sails and a beautiful hull. The ship makes special trips to unique destinations. The Reade Swan meets all the requirements for worldwide sailing and can sail wherever she wants. The reinforced bow also allows her to set a course for the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
Interior
There is a warm and cozy atmosphere in the ship. Below deck is a large saloon with ample space for guests and crew. There is also a well-equipped galley here, as well as 10 comfortable double cabins and the toilets and showers. All areas can be well heated.

What the guests have in common is the desire for a special trip. Enjoy the outdoors, the ocean and the countries that are visited. The ship is suitable for everyone, from young to old. sailing program
From June to September, the Reade Swan sails in Northern Norway and Spitsbergen. In October, November and April, May, the Reade Swan sails the North and South Atlantic around the Canary Islands, Brazil, the Caribbean and the Azores with the Masterskip program for high school students. From December to March, it conducts expeditions in Antarctica.
Safety
The Reade Swan sails under the Dutch flag. It meets all requirements set worldwide, European and national level. The certificates of the crew are also always in order. There are many exercises on board to train in various situations and to maintain a high level of safety awareness.
