Welcome to the North Star

This sailing ship from 1912 has been sailing from Harlingen on the Waddenzee and the IJsselmeer for years. The two-masted clipper has a cockpit and a seat cushion on the deck, where you can relax on. 
Of course you also have to work on board, together with the partner you hoist the sails and you participate in tacking or other sailing maneuvers. You do not need experience, the size explains how everything works.

Interior

De Poolster has a spacious day room where you can have a drink and sit comfortably while sailing. The sleeping cabins on board are perfect for multi-day sailing trips. Each cabin has bunk beds and 220-volt outlets. There are 9x 2-person cabins, 2x 4-person cabins and 2x 3/4 person cabins with a French bed in both cabins. The shared sanitary facilities consist of 3 showers and 3 toilets. 
On board there is also a fully equipped open kitchen where you can cook well. This kitchen has an 6 gas stove, a large oven, a large fridge with a large freezer compartment, a beer tap and a coffee maker (with filters).

The skipper, Joska grew up on board, so he knows all the nice and beautiful places in the Wadden area and is also open to your wishes and ideas during sailing trips.
