This sailing ship invites you to really enjoy; it is gracefully, quickly, comfortably and luxuriously furnished in a contemporary lounge style.
Loungeklipper Avontuur lives up to its name. A sailing trip with this two-master is certainly adventurous. It is a pleasure to sail really sporty with this beautiful and elegant sailing ship, which is in the top 5 of the fastest sailing ships of the Dutch historical fleet.
Interior
On the teak deck you can sunbathe and enjoy the water and the beautiful Dutch skies. The safe cockpit offers plenty of space where you can experience all facets of sailing up close. Inside, the ship radiates a relaxed atmosphere. All woodwork is made of solid oak, which results in a solid interior. During construction as a charter ship, daylight has been taken into account, which meets you from all sides in the day room. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything that makes life on board easier. De Avontuur has a very pleasant layout and only has 2-person cabins. A total of 22 guests can stay overnight. All cabins have running water and central heating. The bright day room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 35 people. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets spread over the corridor.
Home port
Harlingen is located on the Wadden Sea and very central, making all islands easily accessible. The shallow draft of the Adventure also contributes to this. This area is also very beautiful for day trips, if you want to look at seals with your company or want to sail a competition with healthy excitement, there are plenty of options on the Wadden Sea. The Frisian lakes and the North Holland canals are also a good option. Much is possible in consultation with regard to the route to be sailed, all depending on the weather and wishes. The skipper knows the places you have never been or where you normally do not come so quickly. In consultation with the skipper, another port of departure than Harlingen can be discussed.
