Adventure travels through Europe

For more than half a century, the Antigua barkentine has sailed European waters. In 1957 the ship was built in Great Britain as a fishing vessel. In 1993 the Antigua was converted into the characteristic three-master it is today.

During the restoration, the Antigua was provided with the rigging of a barentine. This means that the foremost mast of the sailing ship is rigged transversely and the other masts are longitudinal. This resulted in an elegant ship with a powerful appearance and good sailing characteristics.

Authentic three-master

On board the Antigua, up to 95 people can participate on a day trip and up to 32 people on a multi-day trip. Guests can look forward to experienced and enthusiastic service personnel and excellent catering. And of course on a great nautical experience on an authentic three-master. With a passionate sailing crew, the most modern navigation equipment and fully prescribed safety equipment for worldwide shipping.

Below deck you enter a beautiful spacious saloon with an attractive bar. There are 16 comfortable 2-person cabins with shower and toilet. Each cabin has its own central heating and air conditioning.
