Sail with the flat-bottomed ship Ortolan on the Wadden Sea and discover the Netherlands in a special way.
Spending the family holiday on the water in the open air, how nice is that. Something for everyone: adventure and / or relaxation. Whether you come with the whole family, leave one parent at home, or grandparents bringing their grandchildren with you; you're in the right place on the sailing ship Ortolan! Sailing experience is not necessary.
On Saturday afternoon, skippers Rocki, Roman and their sailor welcome you on their two-masted clipper Ortolan. After the luggage has been brought into the cabin, there will be an opportunity during lunch to get to know the other sailors and the crew. The sailor gives a short sailing instruction on deck. The children are given an "Orto-Journal" where they can write down everything important during the week (eg how to practice tying knots, steering and navigating, learning sailing terms, etc.). The passengers and the sailor set the sails together. Destination: the Waddenzee. During the sailing trip you will experience many beautiful things: visiting and exploring different Wadden islands, drying up, watching seals, collecting shells, anchoring, gazing at the stars, and much more.
During this sailing trip Rocki provides culinary delights. In addition, there are different activities for the children every day, so that parents have time to do something completely for themselves.
