Whether on the deck of the sailing ship or on the saddle of your bicycle, during this trip you will feel the wind on your skin and enjoy the feeling of freedom! These cycling & sailing trips combine the unique possibilities to explore the Danish South Sea both from the water and by bicycle.
On Monday everyone comes on board and gets to know the fellow passengers and crew. You will experience seven varied days on board the traditional sailing ship Iris. Everyone on board can lend a hand and help hoist the sails. No experience is necessary for these sailing trips, the ship's crew will be happy to show and explain everything to everyone. Together you will soon be a well-coordinated team!
After hoisting the sails you will enjoy the Danish South Sea, which enchants enormously with its white sandy beaches, cozy harbor towns and the typical colorful houses. It is a beautiful region to explore.
Discover these Danish islands not only from the water, but also by bike and get to know the harbor towns and their beautiful surroundings even better during your bike rides. The average distance is between 20-30 kilometers. The captain will provide everyone with the right cards.
Sailing and cycling makes you hungry. During the trip, delicious meals are cooked together with the fellow sailors, creating a pleasant group dynamic from the start. The perfect holiday for active relaxation! In the evening you can rest in one of the five double cabins and start the next sailing and cycling adventure well rested.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
