Experience the perfect mix of Scandinavian nature and Hanseatic sailing enthusiasm. This sailing trip is suitable for sailing enthusiasts and those who want to become one. Because everyone will soon feel completely at home on board the Iris. The tour starts in Stockholm and ends in the Hanseatic city of Rostock.
The sailing adventure starts in the Swedish capital Stockholm, everyone comes on board on Friday evening. Get to know the fellow sailors and the crew of the ship in a pleasant round and discuss the route of the first days with the captain. At the start of the sailing trip you will have the unique opportunity to view the cruising area around Stockholm. Around Stockholm lies the breathtaking “Stockholm Archipelago” with its more than 30.000 islands, skerries and rocks. Many are uninhabited, others are known for lively summer parties. What all islands have in common: they are the most impressive to discover from the water's edge!
Then the journey continues south, via nice harbors and islands. The final destination of this sailing trip is the Hanseatic city of Rostock. You can probably already admire one or two traditional sailing ships when you enter the city harbor of Rostock, because the Hanse Sail 2023 takes place in Rostock the following weekend. It is great fun to extend your sailing holiday with a few extra days in Rostock and get to know many more ships.
After the necessary explanation, everyone on board can lend a hand, so that it quickly becomes a well-coordinated team. The ship's crew ensures that even novice sailors will quickly find their way.
During the sailing trip you will spend the night in one of the comfortable double cabins on board the Iris. During the trip, delicious meals are cooked together with the fellow sailors, creating a pleasant group dynamic from the start.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
