Autumn! The leaves on the trees turn red and yellow, finally the wind starts to blow harder again and the air feels nice and fresh outside! The time to book a sailing weekend!
Skippers Roman and Rocki ensure that this weekend will feel like an unforgettable outing. When the sails are set and the two-masted clipper Ortolan is on course, you can enjoy the wonderful autumn feeling. To make sure you stay warm, you will be provided with fresh coffee and hot chocolate along the way. Switch off the cell phone, read a book or do anything else you feel like doing.
Thuishaven Stavoren is the perfect base for this weekend. The historic cities of Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Urk or Lemmer can be reached within a few hours. Once you have arrived at your destination, you will have enough time to explore the former Zuiderzee town. Stroll through the narrow streets, along the picturesque canals and beautiful historic buildings. In the evening you will be spoiled with a two-course menu. Roman and Rocki have also put together a beer tasting with various tasty beers, brewed along the IJsselmeer and the Waddenzee. You can then end the evening on board or in one of the cozy pubs ashore.
On Sundays Roman and Rocki serve a delicious breakfast buffet. After breakfast the ship leaves the harbor and the helmsman sets course for home port. In Stavoren you step aboard full of energy with a wonderful holiday feeling.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
