Unfortunately, the festival is canceled again. But this trip is still taking place, because Terschelling is versatile enough to enjoy yourself without a festival. The great thing about this package is that you are already on the island on Friday evening, so you can enjoy the woods, dunes and beach for a nice long Saturday. Moreover, there is a cautious Oerol atmosphere, because many guests have just come to experience that special island feeling.
Of course, as every year, it is possible to book an individual package for the Oerol festival. The imposing ship Alida will gladly sail you to Terschelling and will also be your place to sleep during the weekend.
In short, treat yourself to a wonderful weekend in Terschelling. Because the Oerol Festival is one of the best events of the summer!
The ship will depart from Harlingen to Terschelling at 16:00 PM on Friday. On the way there is a hot meal on the table. When you arrive at the island, you can disembark immediately and you can immediately immerse yourself in the phenomenon called Oerol. Let yourself be carried away by, among other things, art and music. Watch an impressive performance or visit an open-air theater show, for example.
Saturday morning you will be awakened by the delicious smells of a ship's breakfast with fresh coffee and tea. This is followed by another day full of celebration and spectacle and you can enjoy lunch and dinner on your own at the festival site or in one of the many cozy restaurants in Terschelling. In the evening you will stay on board again.
After breakfast, the crew hoist the sails and sail back to Harlingen. While the water landscape passes you by, the chef serves a tasty lunch.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
