Discover the beauty of the nature around the Frisian lakes with the sailing ship Ortolan. On Sunday evening, skippers Roman and Rocki welcome you on their elegant sailing ship. This week, walking has the highest priority. Over a total distance of about 40 kilometers, there are beautiful walking routes along picturesque Frisian villages and beautiful landscapes. Discover Stavoren, Heeg and Sloten, also known for the 11 famous Frisian cities. Stroll through the narrow streets or watch the birds nest in the reeds or fields. With a bit of luck you might even spot one of the eagles that have made Friesland their home.
During the tour you will be offered culinary delights from Rocki. The ship is always waiting for you in the afternoon / evening on site with a hot shower, fresh coffee and small treats in the cozy day room.
In addition, Roman and Rocki naturally also want to share their greatest passion, sailing, with you. That is why two sailing days have been planned after the hiking days. During this package you will sail on the Frisian Lakes and the IJsselmeer.
