sailing trip wadlopen wadden sea

A wonderful midweek sailing with the Boreas

Embark on a wonderful trip across the Wadden Sea aboard the beautiful Harlinger tjalk de Boreas. Sailing experience is not required, you can fanatically help with sailing or lay on a deck with a book. Everything is possible and nothing is required.

Travel information

A beautiful sailing trip on the Wad, with a visit to the beautiful islands and possibly drying up on the mudflats. Monday you are welcome on board from 10.00 a.m. You will meet the skipper Henk and Gretel his wife and the other guests.
The skipper and sailor show you the way on the ship and discuss the route with the guests. Various sailing routes are possible. Depending on the wind direction and strength, a nice plan is made. And after a short sailing instruction, you will be thrown loose and you will sail out of the harbor of Harlingen.
Once the sails are hoisted and the ship is on course, you can do your own thing. On the way there is everything to see: bird flocks, sunbathing or swimming seals, beautiful coastlines,
Lunch will be served along the way. During the week the Boreas moors in various ports, so you can go out on your own. Visit a charming harbor town, grab a terrace, take a walk or bike ride.
The last day the ship sails back to Harlingen, where you arrive in Harlingen in the late afternoon.
