Midweek with a group change on Wednesday
Step on board for a special school trip on the Wadden. A sailing trip with one or more ships is a perfect way to go out with a group of young people. Zeilendeschepen.nl offers complete sailing trips for schools, including carefully selected activities on the islands.
It is possible to rent the same ship for two consecutive school trips. The first group will go out from Monday to Wednesday and then the second group will sail from Wednesday to Friday. The big advantage of this construction is that only one ship has to be rented, the groceries can be used by both groups and the bus can drive full back and forth on Wednesdays. Each group is on the road for three days and two nights, so the students have the feeling that they have really been away for a while.
The program and prices are based on 30 students and 2 supervisors per school trip.
Monday - The class and guidance board and after a sailing instruction from the ship's crew, the lines are released. The ship sets sail to set course for Vlieland. The students will hoist the sails together with the sailor. Along the way there is plenty to see and do, set sails, steer and enjoy the beautiful nature reserve. Mid-afternoon the ship will dock in the harbor. On Vlieland, the harbor is right next to the beach, dunes and the forest.
After arrival, the group will take a lovely walk through the dunes and on the beach. back on board for a meal together. After dinner you can take a short walk on the beach to watch the sun sink into the sea.
Tuesday - This day is spent on activities on the island. The bicycles are available within walking distance of the ship. Everyone cycles through the woods and dunes towards Paal 50. There the students can spend a morning on the beach and in the dunes.
Then everyone can join for a delicious lunch at Strandpaviljoen 't Badhuys.
Vlieland has a unique nature reserve, the Vliehors. This beautiful area is also known as the Sahara of the North. After lunch the group goes on an adventure with the Vliehors Express. There, a real beachcomber tells about his beach finds and adventures.
At 15.00 p.m. a delicious cup of hot chocolate will be ready in 't Badhuys to enjoy the day together. Then the students can go to the village on their own or go on a bike ride. The supervisors can fill this in themselves.
Wednesday - The lines will be released early today, because it is time to return to Harlingen! As a souvenir of this unforgettable trip, you will receive a nice gift upon arrival at the port.
In Harlingen there is a quick cleaning together so that the next group can come on board for the second part of the school trip. This group has the same program as the first group of students.

Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
