Step aboard the charming and seaworthy sailing ship Najade for a beautiful sailing trip around Rügen. This is the largest island in Germany. It is characterized by white Baltic beaches and a nostalgic atmosphere. It has a jagged coast, with many bends and peninsulas and headlands.
This tour starts in Stralsund. A beautifully renovated Hanseatic city with beautiful half-timbered houses, old monasteries and cathedrals. Everyone comes on board here and gets to know the crew and fellow passengers. Depending on the wind direction, a sail plan is made and you sail around the island of Rügen to the right or left. A visit to the special island of Hiddensee is on the program and you round the Cape Arkona, the northernmost tip of Germany. Meanwhile, while sailing you have a beautiful view of the snow-white chalk cliffs and capricious nature.
During this wandering there is a good chance of spotting sea eagles, kingfishers and perhaps cranes. The crew of the Najade knows this area very well and will show you the most beautiful places in Rügen.
The port dues, tourist tax and groceries are paid from this. Because the skipper cannot estimate the exact costs in advance, this will be charged separately. For example, it may be that little port dues have to be paid for spending the night in nature. If less is spent, you get money back. This is especially common on ships sailing on the Baltic Sea.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
