Najade
Traditional sailing
The Najade is a flat-bottomed ship from 1897 that is still sailed in the traditional way. In addition to a certificate for Dutch waters, De Najade also has a certificate for the German Wad and the Baltic Sea. Due to its shallow draft, even the smallest harbor is accessible to the ship.
The Najade sails on the Wadden Sea in the early and late season and has Kiel as its home port in the high season. Please note that different prices are charged for sailing trips on the Baltic Sea.
Interior
Whoever enters the hold of the Najade will immediately feel at home. The interior meets all modern requirements. Lots of light, headroom everywhere, a modern kitchen, spacious cages and good sanitary facilities. Yet it still breathes that typical ship's atmosphere on which after a day of sailing with sun and wind it is good to drink and chat. Children are also very welcome on board. There are plenty of good children's life jackets and life lines.
cabins
The cabins on board the ship are spacious, but closed with thick sliding curtains. However, there are 2 doors to the hold, so there will be little trouble from people who stay behind. Furthermore, there are 2 cabins on board with double beds.
Sailing with the Najade is never boring
Skipper Hans, together with his mate, organizes all sailing activities on deck. He is an enthusiastic sailor and is always looking for new places and challenges. Sailing means working together for him, and he also likes to hand over the helm. The options are discussed on the basis of everyone's wishes and the trip is determined in consultation with the skipper and the guests. He also tries to make people interested in the competitive element in sailing. He himself has won prizes at many sailing competitions in recent years.
Guests mention that there is room for adventure in his tours, room to make plans together, room to make it the journey that suits the guests every time.
