The loyal customers of the Artemis suggested sailing around Skagen instead of sailing through the North East Sea Canal. This year their wish will be fulfilled. Since 1895, seagoing vessels have been sailing the abbreviated route of approximately 250 nautical miles through the canal, and thus no longer have to sail all the way around Denmark to eventually reach the Baltic Sea. The Artemis will now sail the old sea route to get from Bremerhaven to Kiel. Skagen is the most northern Danish point around which you can sail.
Route: Bremerhaven - Danish island - Kiel-Holtenau
For the package in May: this trip can be extended from 17 May (19 pm) to 19 May (10 am) 2021 with the package from Kiel-Holtenau to Bremerhaven. For the package in June, the trip can be extended by 2 nights. Handy if you come by car and / or you would like to start and end the trip around Skagen in the same port. Costs of this 3-day package: from € 180 pp
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
