Hop on for a beautiful mile maker from Wilhelmshaven to Rotterdam. You sail along and visit the German and Dutch Wadden Islands on your way to the home port of the Iris. While you sail via the islands towards the Netherlands, you will soon feel at ease on board and after the necessary explanation, actively help with the setting of the sails.
After you have come on board and become acquainted with the fellow sailors and crew, the captain will show everyone the way on board. And a little later, for the first time, it's time to throw loose.
After the sails have been hoisted, the captain sets sail for Rotterdam. On the way the ship stops at various Wadden Islands, each with its own charm. There are endless sandy beaches that invite to relaxing walks and beautiful nature that you can explore by bicycle. Possible destinations are, for example, the German island of Helgoland or the popular Wadden island of Terschelling. Scheveningen, the beach district of The Hague, can also be a possible stop on the route. As with all sailing trips, the exact route is subject to weather conditions.
During the sailing trip you will spend the night in one of the comfortable double cabins on board the Iris. During the trip, delicious meals are cooked together with the fellow sailors, creating a pleasant group dynamic from the start. The perfect holiday for active relaxation!
If you want to make your return journey more relaxed, you can possibly stay on board for an extra night. This overnight stay costs € 45,00 per person and you can stay on board until Monday 9 October 10.00 am.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
