The Classic Summer Cruise will also take place this year. The skipper and his experienced crew have been organizing unforgettable sailing trips across the Wad and to the Wadden Islands for many years. The goal is to make a beautiful sailing trip along various Wadden Islands and during the trip there will also be dry land so that you can walk on the sandbars.
Monday evening everyone comes on board.
While enjoying coffee, tea and Frisian delicacies you get to know the other guests and the crew.
The skipper warmly welcomes everyone and explains the stay on board a ship and talks about the planned tour based on the weather forecast and the tides.
After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast, the ship departs for the Wadden Islands.
In the afternoon the ship moors in one of the cozy harbor towns. Here you can explore the island by bike or scooter.
There are also beautiful walking areas across the Wad or through the woods and dunes, ending with a cozy terrace with a view of the Wadden Sea.
Drying up with the ship on the Wad is certainly one of the destinations, depending on the tide and weather forecast, the skipper chooses the best day for this. What does such a dry day look like now; the anchor goes in and now we have to wait for the ebb current to take the water with it.
A wonderful moment to slowly see the seabed and then walk and enjoy the Wadden.
On Friday the journey will return to the home port. And after a last sailing trip, everyone says goodbye to each other.
Important: the planning of the tour is subject to and depending on the weather conditions: the final route of the sailing trip is ultimately determined on boarding on Monday.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
