De Pelikaan is a sailing old freight clipper that provides day trips and multi-day sailing trips on the Waddenzee and the IJsselmeer from Harlingen. The Pelikaan can have a maximum of 32 people on board during sailing trips. The ship is perfect for an outing with friends, family or colleagues. 

 

The Pelican was built in 1914 as a sailing freight clipper. With its 212 tonne payload does she have to 1989 with cargo hazards. Since 2001 she is restored to its former state, and as a sailing passenger ship equipped. Due to the large width and cavity makes the ship very earnest. The Pelican is built for big waters, like the Western Scheldt and Ems. There is a lot of space below deck, and headroom.

 

The bright and attractive salon is approximately 50 square meters in size and very suitable for large groups. The ship has therefore been used many times for weddings. There is an open kitchen where you can find everything you need to prepare a dinner for large groups. The 32 berths are at least two meters long and spread over 9 cabins. The entire ship is centrally heated. During the midweeks and week trips it is possible to book a pre-night stay.
