The Ethel von Brixham was built in 1890 in Brixham, South England. As a sailing fishing vessel, the Ethel sailed for years from Kiel across the North Sea and the Bay of Biscay. This rugged area requires a particularly stable and fast sailing ship. In 1981 the ship was fitted with her current rigging in Germany. The Ethel von Brixham is a seaworthy, traditional wooden gaff schooner and is equipped for worldwide sailing trips. The sailing area is now mainly the Danish South Sea and the Baltic Sea.
 

The Ethel von Brixham is particularly suitable for company outings, seminars and conferences, but also for beautiful holidays with family or friends. On deck, the ship offers its guests plenty of space for active sailing or for relaxing. After the necessary explanation about sailing, the crew is happy to hand over the helm and help everyone with the ins and outs on board.
