Sailing on the Prosperity
Step on the clipper Welvaart and enjoy a wonderful trip. This clipper has excellent sailing properties, so roll up your sleeves and feel the wind blow the ship faster and faster. Even if you prefer to take it easy, it is wonderful to enjoy yourself on board Prosperity.
It is wonderful to relax on deck at the Welvaart. In the deeply recessed cockpit you will find a nice place to enjoy a nice snack and drink in peace. In addition to the cockpit, the high railing and wide gangways make this two-masted clipper a very comfortable and safe sailing ship.
Below deck
The spacious day room is cosily furnished and is a nice space to get together. The kitchen is spacious and everything is there to prepare a great meal for large groups. You can reminisce for a long time at the tables and in the seating area after a day outside.
You can look for a comfortable bed at the end of the day aboard the clipper Welvaart. The cabins all have direct access to toilet and shower. There is a double bed in the rear cabin, ideal for families. Groups up to 20 persons can sail on the Prosperity on multi-day trips. 35 people can sail along on a day trip.
History
From 1906, this large clipper has transported coal and manure between North Holland and Friesland. After a major renovation, the ship now sails as a spacious and luxurious passenger ship on the Dutch inland waterways. In this way, Prosperity still regularly visits both provinces.
