Welcome aboard the Vrouwe Frida Cornelia

The Vrouwe Frida Cornelia is a luxurious clipper barge from 1908. The ship has been lovingly renovated and transformed into a beautiful, authentic and homely ship for day trips, with modern comfort in a unique atmosphere.From Amsterdam you only need fifteen minutes by car or bus to reach the berth of this ship. The ship has been making day trips on the Gouwzee, the Markermeer and the IJsselmeer since 2003.  

The ship

Two-masted Lady Frida Cornelia is a spacious, light and contemporary clipper barge. Guests quickly feel at home and that, according to skippers Jos and Marjolein van der Heide, is what it's all about during a relaxed and well-maintained day on the water. Due to the low deckhouse and the wide entrance from the hold, the Vrouwe Frida Cornelia is a well-arranged ship, with a lot of contact between inside and outside. The Lady Frida Cornelia can take 40 passengers on her day trips. The cockpit can seat 20 people and on deck there is plenty of seating space with plenty of reclining and seat cushions. In addition, there is, among other things, a beer tap available in the large but cozy day room. 

Catering

The cook has a background in hotel school and she likes nothing more than to spoil the guests with culinary delights. She conjures up the most delicious homemade dishes from the well-equipped kitchen, with a Boretti stove and Miele steam oven. Her mission is to really pamper the guests with a relaxed sailing trip in combination with a refined and surprising cuisine. The flexibility and hospitality of the skippers ensures that nothing is missing during your day out.
