Sailing ship 'Vertrouwen' was built in 1910 as a freighter and now sails as a sailing passenger ship from Harlingen. Katja and Axel have been the proud owners since 2002. With enormous effort they have thoroughly renovated and refurbished the ship with great attention to detail. When you come below deck you step into the large attractive saloon. The space is wide and light, which is very pleasant for cooking and eating together. 

Most cabins have bunk beds, here it was deliberately chosen to place two-person beds next to each other in 2 cabins for extra comfort. In addition, there is a large 4 person cabin with a double bed, this time even 2 double beds in bunk bed format. Ideal as a cabin for the children or as a private cabin for a family. Naturally, the ship also has a shower, which is so large and beautiful that you can speak of a very spacious bathroom. And not unimportantly to mention: above deck there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sun deck!

 

You can take care of yourself on board the Vertrouwen. The kitchen is practically furnished and there are plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses and pans available for extensive cooking. There is a 6 burner stove, oven, refrigerator of about 150 liters and a beer tap. If you want to be well looked after, there is also the possibility to order catering.
