Welcome to the Statenjacht de Utrecht

The Statenjacht 'De Utrecht' is the authentic reconstruction of a historic sailing ship, built on the basis of original drawings from 1746. The richly decorated Statenjachts were used during the 80 Years War to transport the commanders. After its completion in 2003, 90 young people involved in construction found regular employment. The Statenjacht De Utrecht has since been available in the sailing season for company outings, family and anniversary gatherings and also as a unique wedding location in Vollendam in the period May to October, and in the winter period in Utrecht.

Catering

It is not possible to bring your own food and drinks. Delicious snacks and meals are served on board, fresh from the private galley. The chef prepares tough and robust meals for the guests during the sailing trips. 

The Statenjacht Utrecht Foundation

This foundation is a public benefit institution and therefore the income from the rental of the sailing ship is used for maintenance and charitable purposes, such as organizing boat trips for the two thousand clients of Abrona, an organization for people with an intellectual disability who never meet vacation forward.
