Sailing on clippers from more than 100 years old

Sailing on the IJsselmeer or the Wad with a beautiful old clipper (1898) is a unique experience that you really have to experience. Whether you want to experience an active day or just a relaxed day on the water. Equipped with all comforts on board, the elements matter again. In the evening you can feel your face glowing from the wind and the sun.

Thanks to a length of over 40 meters, the three-mast rigging of the Novel comes into its own. Until 1993 the ship transported cargo, mainly on Belgian waters. The ship then started her career as a sailing charter ship. In the winter of 2007/2008, the ship was completely rebuilt, so that it meets all current wishes and requirements.

The Novel is located in Kampen during the winter period. This city is located at the mouth of the IJssel and is a Hanseatic city. The cozy historic city center offers you many interesting sights. 

Interior

Upon entering you enter an attractive room where beautiful different types of wood have been used. The salon has large portholes and windows to the deck, so there is a lot of daylight and you stay in touch with the outside. There is a spacious catering kitchen which is adjacent to the day room. In the kitchen you can find everything for preparing a delicious meal.
The cabins are all equipped with spacious beds, a sink with hot and cold water and an 220v socket. There are a total of 4 large showers and 4 toilets.
