Welcome to the Noordvaarder

The Noordvaarder was built in 1909 in Lemmer. In 1945 the ship got a motor, until then it was only sailed. The Noordvaarder transported freight throughout the Netherlands for almost 80 for many years. During the restoration in 1986 this stately sail clipper got her two masts back.

Interior

Below deck there are 9 cabins for 2 people and 2 cabins for 4 people. There are 2 showers, 2 toilets, a galley and a cozy salon from which you can look directly outside. On deck the wheel is just in front of the skipper's house, around it is a spacious seating area. This gives you direct contact with the skipper as a guest.

The Noordvaarder sails from Harlingen towards the Wadden Islands and the IJsselmeer. In the winter, the Noordvaarder is located in the cozy Noorderhaven in Harlingen. Catering can be provided for groups by the ship's cook.
