Welcome on board the Gouden Bodem
De Gouden Bodem is a beautiful sailing clipper that can be booked in the sailing season for sailing trips on the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer from Harlingen. De Gouden Bodem is a comfortable sailing ship that has 2 and 4 person cabins, a spacious day room and a practically furnished kitchen. The ship can therefore also be booked by groups for multi-day sailing trips. For example, a staff outing, team training, an anniversary or a family day.
The history
The clipper Gouden Bodem was built in 1903. After a major renovation, the Gouden Bodem was used in 1980 as a sailing charter ship. The ship was then renovated once more to be able to sail as a beautiful single-masted clipper over the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer. During the winter months, the Gouden Bodem can be used as a hotel ship in the center of Groningen.
The skipper Meent Land welcomes you aboard the Golden Bottom.
