Frans Horjus
Welcome to the Frans Horjus
The Frans Horjus was built in 1904. The ship has sailed to many different countries over the years. In 1977 the ship was restored by the owner and turned into a modern charter ship. The ship is wide and stable and has excellent sailing characteristics. There is plenty of space on deck with a spacious cockpit. The rudder is not located on the aft deck but in front of the skipper's thruster so that you have better contact with the skipper.
Interior
The Frans Horjus is a two-masted clipper with Harlingen as its home port. The ship can be booked for one-day or multi-day sailing trips on the Wad or the IJsselmeer. The Frans Horjus has a spacious and well-lit saloon, a well-equipped kitchen with a bar and 12 cabins that can accommodate a total of 28 people.
With a midweek or week trip, an overnight stay can be booked for € 620,-
