sailing holiday wadden sea

A weekend of sailing, including catering

Enjoy a wonderful sailing trip with alternating action and rest! A sailing trip with the sun setting on a beautiful summer evening can create the ultimate holiday feeling, a day of cruising and therefore working hard on board gives the real sailor feeling, but an afternoon stroll or shopping in one of the cozy harbor towns can also provide a lot of satisfaction.

Travel information

Everyone is welcome on board from 20.00 p.m. on Friday evening. Here you meet the crew and the other guests and the skipper shows you the way on board. Then you can stay on board, but if you want you can also go into town in the evening for a walk or visit a cafe.
The next day, after breakfast, the crew explains sailing. Once everything is clear, the tasks are divided and you sail out of the harbor. Once the sails are set and the ship is on course, you can choose to go your own way or help the crew continue sailing.
Meanwhile, there is plenty to see along the way: flocks of birds, beautiful coastlines, other ships or just water.
Lunch will be served along the way. At the end of the afternoon you will moor in a harbor and you have the option to go out yourself. Visit the atmospheric harbor town, grab a terrace, take a walk or bike ride. In the evening, a hot meal is waiting for you and you eat together on board. After dinner you have the opportunity to organize your own time and possibly disembark to spend your evening ashore.
The last day you sail back to the home port so that you will be back in port around 17.00 hours.

Sailing ship

At the moment it is not yet known with which ship this trip will be sailed. This will become clear about 4 weeks before departure. In any case, it will be a beautiful ship that meets all requirements in terms of comfort and safety.

The sailing

The skippers know all the beautiful places in the area and do their utmost to put together a nicely varied program with the travel group. The final route is dependent on wind and weather conditions. How many hours a day is sailed depends on the wishes of the group.
