A sailing trip with the sun setting on a beautiful summer evening can create the ultimate holiday feeling. A day of cruising and therefore hard work on board gives the real sailor feeling. And on the islands you can enjoy an afternoon stroll or visit one of the charming harbor towns.
You are welcome on board from 21.00 pm on the first day. You get to know the skipper, the mate, the cook and the other guests. The skipper will then guide you on board.
The next day the sailing route is discussed together and after a sailing instruction you sail out of the harbor. Today you will practice the different knots and get to know the different sails. You can always help on board. Once the sails are set and the ship is on course, you can still actively sail along or do your own thing. You have time for a good book, a nice game with the other guests or just enjoy everything around you.
There is a lot to see along the way: beautiful coastlines, flocks of birds, other ships or just water. On the Wadden Sea you can regularly see seals sunbathing or swimming. It may also be possible to fall dry: a unique experience! In the afternoon the ship moors in various ports, so you can go out on your own. Visit an attractive harbor town, grab a terrace, take a walk or bike ride. In the evening a hot meal is waiting for you and you eat together on board. After dinner you of course divide the time yourself.
The last day you will sail back to the home port so that you can disembark at the harbor around 16.00 PM.
The experienced skipper knows all the beautiful places in the area and does his utmost to put together a nicely varied program in consultation with the travel group. The final route will depend on wind and weather conditions. How many hours are sailed per day, depends on the wishes of the group.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
