A nice crossing from Oban to Rostock

This year the Thalassa will sail from Scotland to Germany. Step aboard and experience the impressive crossing over the North Sea. At night you can see the beautiful starry skies, which are more extensive, brighter and contain more constellations than you will ever be able to see from land.

Itinerary Milemaker

A mileage maker is a crossing for a reduced price in which the guests actively help with work on board. On these trips, sailing/sailing comes first because the ship has to be at a certain destination on a fixed date. Land trips and stopovers are therefore only possible if the weather and time schedule allow it. The crew of the Thalassa invites you to join the crew as a co-sailor and thus assist on board with all common navigating activities such as setting sail, keeping watch and navigating with sea charts.

Route

On September 10 you will sail with the sailing ship Thalassa from Oban towards Rostock. After embarkation there is a word of welcome, a waiting schedule and safety instruction before the ship throws loose for the trip across the North Sea. This one week trip takes you via Scotland, the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. You arrive on September 17 in the colorful Hanseatic city of Rostock.

Travel sum is based on a stay in a shared double room.
Please bring luggage in travel bags: hard suitcases are unsuitable in the cabins.
Our clothing advice is to bring wind and waterproof clothing, closed shoes and sporty casual wear.

If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
