Sailing the Mediterranean

A spectacular long sailing trip to the sunny south

This year the Atlantis is sailing to the sunny south again. Come and experience the spectacular crossing of the Bay of Biscay and feel the temperature rise by one degree almost every day along the way. At night you can see the beautiful starry skies of the Atlantic Ocean, which are more extensive, brighter and contain more constellations than you will ever be able to see from land.

In the Strait of Gibraltar in particular, fluorescent algae offer a fascinating spectacle along the ship. Certainly if the ship is also accompanied by numerous dolphins, you see beautiful luminous traces in the water. Let the hospitable and professional service crew pamper you in wind and weather on board and enjoy the relaxation of sailing and pure nature.

Trip description

With a voyage like this, sailing and sailing comes first because the ship must be at a certain destination on a fixed date. Land trips and stopovers are therefore only possible if the weather and the timetable allow it. The crew of the Atlantis invites you as part of the crew to be part of the crew and thus assist on board with all common navigational activities such as setting sail, watch on hold and navigating with sea charts.

The Mediterranean route takes you past the Balearic Islands and if there is time the ship can anchor here in one of the beautiful bays or visit one of the enchanting harbors. Between Corsica and Sardinia the journey continues through the Strait of Bonifacio to Olbia. If good progress has been made and the wind is good, there is certainly a chance to swim in one of the fantastic bays. Perhaps a visit to Bonifacio is feasible or anchoring near Sardinia in the beautiful area "La Maddalena".
