Sail along for a long weekend, enjoy playing with the wind and well-groomed catering.
You are welcome on board the sailing ship from 20.00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. You will meet skipper Jan, his sailor and the other guests. The skipper shows you the way on board and the bed is already made. You can stay on board, but if you want, you can still go into town in the evening to visit a restaurant or café.
During the day after breakfast, the crew will explain sailing. You discuss which routes and possibilities there are, practice different knots and get to know the different sails. As soon as everything is clear, the tasks are divided and you sail out of the port. The skipper is at the helm, but on our sailing ships there is something for everyone to do. Once the sails are hoisted and the ship is on course, you can go your own way. Do you have a good book that you just can't get to? Do you like games? Feel free to take it all with you! Or drift off to sleep on the deck. But beware, there is plenty to see along the way: flocks of birds, beautiful coastlines, other ships or just water.
Lunch will be served en route. Later in the afternoon you will be moored in a harbor, so that you have the opportunity to go out on your own. You can visit an atmospheric harbor town, grab a drink on a terrace, take a walk or bike ride. In the evening a hot meal is waiting for you and you eat together with the other guests on board. After dinner you have the opportunity to arrange your own time and disembark to spend the evening ashore.
On Sunday you sail back to Enkhuizen and disembark around 17.00 p.m. Of course you can also help with sailing or relax on the way back.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
