More than 75 traditional ships start every year during the Brandaris race. The participating ships sail from Harlingen to Terschelling. According to good practice, this showdown takes place at the end of the sailing season. Embark on board and experience this spectacle. You board on Friday evening and the next day the race starts towards Terschelling. After a few hours of hard work, we will finish for the port of Terschelling. There is the award ceremony in the evening. This only ends in the late hours and is often one big party. The next day we sail back relaxed to Harlingen.
A helping hand is expected from the guests. Sailing experience is not necessary. A professional crew will accompany you, who will tell you what to do. If you wish, you can help hoist the sails, tack and all other activities on deck to your heart's content.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
