This trip is about sailing! The skipper and crew have a destination and know when they want to reach it. Stopovers are therefore only planned if the weather gods are in their favor and the time suits them. When the wind comes from the front, they use the engine. They invite you to be part of the crew as a fellow sailor and support them in all the usual activities on board, such as taking over the night watch with a crew member and hoisting the sails. Enjoy the breathtaking starry sky, and see constellations with your own eyes that you would otherwise only know from the map.
In 2023, the Atlantis will sail to the summer south. On this mile-maker trip, the ship sails across the North Sea, through the English Channel and across the Bay of Biscay to Cascais. You can feel it getting a degree warmer almost every day. Fluorescent algae provide you with art in the water. If you are lucky, and the dolphins accompany the ship at night, you can admire this natural spectacle. Let the professional crew spoil you with culinary delights in all weathers. Experience sailing and pure nature together with the other boarders.
The journey takes you along the English and French coast, past Guernsey and Jersey until the Atlantis reaches the tip of France: Brest. Also known for its Pointe Saint-Mathieu, one of the westernmost rocky points in Europe. Here, the rugged cliffs, together with the strong surf of the Atlantic Ocean and the imposing lighthouse, create a unique picture. The ship sails across the Bay of Biscay, which every true sailor should sail once.
From Brest it is still 700 nautical miles or 1.297 km to our port of destination: Cascais in Portugal. However the journey goes, one thing is certain! You will not forget this trip. The deep blue sea with the warm rays of the sun, the clear nights with stars and the feeling of being a real sailor and being part of a crew on a big ship.

If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
