The Titaan is a beautiful combination of a traditional sailing ship with a modern and luxurious interior. This makes the ship very suitable for various occasions: sailing trips with family, friends or colleagues, meetings, company outings, business relations, a party or a combination of these.

The Titaan is a two-mast Groningse Zee Tjalk, completely new-built in 2001 in Friesland, and is specially equipped to sail in luxury with groups. The ship is furnished as an event and day trip ship and has no sleeping accommodation. This means there is a lot of space available for meetings, presentations, dinners and dance parties. 

 

The great thing about a sailing day is that everyone can be as active as he or she wants to be. Enjoy the view on deck or stand at the helm yourself or show your muscles together and hoist the sails. Everything is possible and everyone enjoys it in their own way. A day with family or friends on the water is immediately a very special day in a relaxed atmosphere. When the weather is bad, you can use the special Helly Hansen sailing suits so that you can continue sailing even in the rain.

 

De Titaan has a fresh, light and very spacious salon. A lot of white, stainless steel and teak wood were chosen for the interior. You will find teak tables and good leather chairs and a large bar. The salon is spacious enough to stay with a large group if the weather does not cooperate.

The traditional ship is equipped with all modern conveniences. There is a luxury coffee machine with freshly ground beans for espresso, cappuccino and latte macchiato. In the extensive, international bar they serve two types of draft beer: Hertog Jan and Hoegaarden Wit and a number of delicious house wines. All audiovisual facilities for a meeting or party are available on the ship. 

Due to its white appearance, the ship is a very special wedding location (recognized by the Municipality of Amsterdam). The wedding ceremony can take place on the deck off the coast of picturesque Durgerdam or in front of IJburg. There are many marriages aboard De Titaan and the large salon ensures that people get married indoors even when the weather is bad. 
Would you like to invite more than 55 guests to the reception? Then the Titan stays in front of the reception in the harbor so that you can give a reception to 80-90 guests. For the party you can choose to go out with the daytime guests.

 

Catering is available at any event. This is provided by professional caterers. The professional crew is easily recognizable by their neat company clothing. The boat is sailed by very experienced skippers and Leon, the owner, always sails with us as host to ensure that everything is perfect to perfection.
