Sailing on a robust ship

Salt is a robust, robust, 8 person sailing ship that sails '' like a beast ''. It has Makkum as its home base, but also sails from Amsterdam, the IJsselmeer and on the mudflats to the islands of Terschelling, Vlieland, Ameland or Texel.

The ship has an attractive saloon with an open kitchen. On the aft deck you will find a wonderful seating area where you can sit comfortably while sailing and in the harbor.

Many possibilities

Skipper and owner Jan Ides welcomes you aboard. Ideas are not easy for him. Do you want an adventurous trip or would you prefer to sail and fall dry? It is all possible; a barbecue, shrimp fish, spotting seals and much more. On a long trip it is also possible to divert to the German islands of Juist and Borkum, a sailing area where not every ship comes. In short, something different than usual.
