Zout
Sailing on a robust ship
Zout is a burly, robust sailing ship for 8 people. She has Makkum as her home base, but she also sails from Amsterdam, the IJsselmeer and on the mudflats to the islands of Terschelling, Vlieland, Ameland or Texel.
The ship has an attractive saloon with an open kitchen. On the aft deck you will find a wonderful seating area where you can sit comfortably while sailing and in the harbor.
Many possibilities
Skipper and owner Jan Ides welcomes you on board. Ideas are not too crazy for him. Do you want an adventurous trip or do you prefer a relaxed sailing and drying out? It is all possible; a barbecue, shrimp fishing, seal watching and much more. During a long trip it is also possible to divert to the German islands of Juist and Borkum, a sailing area where not every ship comes. In short, something different than usual.

De Zout only sails on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
