With this robust tjalk from 1885 you can make beautiful sailing trips on the Wad and IJsselmeer. This beautiful ship has Hoorn as its home port and has been sailing with her guests on the IJselmeer and the Wadden Sea since 1975.

It is a very beautiful, authentic tjalk with very good sailing characteristics and an experienced, enthusiastic crew. The ship has wide gangways with a high railing and is therefore extremely suitable for a sailing holiday with small children.

Above deck you can sit in the sun or actively help while sailing.
 

The atmospheric day room offers enough space for a large group. There is an open kitchen where you can easily prepare a meal for everyone. There are 16 beds in 5 cabins. All cabins are equipped with a sink with hot and cold running water, central heating, a small reading light and sufficient storage space for personal belongings.

On inclement days you can turn on the central heating for a pleasant temperature below deck. This means that the Mercurius can also be used on cold days.
