Vrouwe Francina
Welcome to the atmospheric Vrouwe Francina
The Vrouwe Francina was built in 1898 and is an extremely well-maintained skutsje, which sails easily and quickly. Below deck it is very cozy, everything you need is there for a day of sailing. The enthusiastic skipper René explains how everything works. You can and can do all the sailing work yourself, together with each other, on board the Vrouwe Francina: steering, hoisting sails, operating backstays & swords, and also moor the ship in the harbor!
Interior
Below deck is a small kitchen, a table with benches, a small toilet, a lovely warm stove, and above all, the atmosphere, safety and sailing pleasure are top notch! There is not standing height everywhere and luxury and privacy are limited. That is why the prices for a sailing trip are not high.
In the front of the ship is a small toilet, there is no shower, but you will receive coins with which you can use the luxurious shower and toilet facilities in the ports. Furthermore, you can always use the wonderfully warm stove, the CD/MP3 player, fun games, the BBQ, the small but nice ship's kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator.
Sailing Trips
The Vrouwe Francina is extremely suitable as a day trip ship for, for example, two families with children, or for sporty groups of friends. The skippers of the Vrouwe Francina are very experienced and used to sailing with groups of different levels. A sailing trip on the Lady Francina is inevitably an instructive event. But each person on board decides for himself to what extent he/she wants to be involved in sailing. In addition, our skippers are used to going on a sailing holiday with children, with the Vrouwe Francina. We usually see that children go about their business during the trip (there are all kinds of toys for inside and outside).
