Beautiful historic Stevenaak

Sailing ship 'Helena' is a two-mast sternay from 1875. This river sailing ship is the oldest iron sailing inland vessel in the Netherlands. After a major museum restoration, the ship is again fully in its original state and recognized as a sailing monument.
The 'Helena' can be used both sailing and stationary. Not only from its home port Hellevoetsuis, but also from other ports the ship can be used for meetings, dinners, weddings and staff parties. Even the YES word can be given on board! The Helena can accommodate 49 guests.
Sailing with a 40 meter long original Stevenaak from 1875 is a unique experience. The skipper and his crew invite you during the trip to help hoist the sails and perform various maneuvers. Nothing is necessary and (almost) everything is allowed! The ship's cook provides the most delicious meals while sailing and under sail we explore the beautiful waters of the Netherlands. But we also maneuver the ship through the narrow rivers of the Hollandse Biesbosch or we sail under full gear on the wide fairway of Haringvliet. Many routes are possible.
