Sailing clipper De Groninger
'De Groninger' is a seaworthy clipper from 1919. The ship sailed as a small freighter on the German Wad until 1995, after which it was completely converted into a luxury sailing yacht.
Interior
Below decks is a lovely salon with a small but well equipped kitchen. For multi-day trips, three cabins are available on board with a double berth (bunk bed), one cabin with a double bed, private toilet and sink and a pilot cage in the hold. So there are a total of 9 sleeping places. But the pilot cage is not really suitable for long trips as it is located in the salon.
Lines
Together with the group, the skipper determines the ideal trip, taking into account the tide, weather and wind. If you book more than two days, there is also the option to explore the Wadden Sea. Together with the crew you will sail a beautiful trip and the ship will be moored for the night in a harbor, on an island, or it will anchor. You can also fall dry on the Wad when the conditions are favourable.
