The Gaia is a Tweemast clipper from the year 1910, built on the Van Zuilekom shipyard in Raamsdonkveer and was previously used in the sailing cargo transport for the transport of bulk goods such as gravel, beet and grain. After the necessary renovations, this beautiful ship nowadays makes sailing trips over the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer from Lemmer.
The ship is very spacious and is suitable for 40 people during day trips. And there are 12 comfortable cabins in which a maximum of 32 people can spend the night. The cozy day room with bar offers an ideal accommodation for groups. The ship is also extremely suitable for school groups. The large cockpit, the excellent stability and the high railing make the ship a great place to stay even in the high seas.
