Welcome to the Bontekoe

Together with the skippers Niels and Renee you will experience what such a large sailing ship can do. They will take you along the most beautiful spots of the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Islands.

You do not need to have sailing experience to enjoy your cruise. The crew is specialized in quickly teaching you the basics, so that you can quickly help hoist the fixed and secondary sails yourself, or steer the ship and look at the map. The Bontekoe is a large, fast and cozy two-masted clipper that makes everyone feel at home quickly. Even if you are not such an enthusiastic tug of war, there is always a nice spot on the deck where you do not have to participate and can view everything well.

The ship

On deck you can sit in the cockpit or relax on the lounge cushions with a blanket. Below deck you will find an attractive day room with enough space for everyone to eat and sit together in the evening. There is a professional kitchen where you can prepare your meals for a large group.
