Sailing on the Beantra

On the Beantra, sailing and the comfort of the guests are paramount. The low draft makes the ship very suitable for sailing trips on the Wadden Sea. Cycling on Vlieland, a visit to Ecomare on Texel and relaxing on Terschelling or falling dry for a walk on the Wad are among the possibilities. 

Interior

De Beantra exudes a sense of space and solidity, elements that so many guests on the IJsselmeer and Waddenzee have already enjoyed. The ship was rebuilt in 1994 on the basis of original drawings into a two-masted clipper. During the renovation, the ship was also shortened to its original size. After the restoration, the Beantra has a large cockpit and a cozy bar, a kitchen and cabins with bedside lamps and central heating, a sink with cold and warm running water. There are 8 comfortable double cabins and 4 spacious triple cabins. The lounge and open kitchen offer plenty of space. A delicious meal can easily be cooked for a large group.
