Welcome to the Arthur van Schendel
The Arthur van Schendel is a two-masted clipper, built in 1906, with a practical rigging. The ship is perfect for smaller groups, where everyone quickly feels at home and can actively participate in sailing. For those who want to take it a bit easier, there is plenty of space in the cockpit, or on the deck, to enjoy a drink in the sun. The Arthur van Schendel has Monnickendam as departure port.
Interior
The inside is also a nice ship, the large windows give you a view of the water while sailing. The kitchen itself is well equipped, ideal for preparing meals for a group. In addition to a central heating system, there is a wood stove, where you can relax after a busy sailing day.
The skipper is happy to welcome you aboard his clipper. Together with his mate he will explain everything about sailing.
