Lunch trip from Hellevoetsluis

During the summer holidays, Helena makes two sailing trips from Hellevoetsluis every day. In the morning a lunch with a picnic on deck. Prefer a little later? Then get on board in the afternoon and get a breath of fresh air during the drink tour.

Sail and help on deck

The Helena is a sailing museum and the oldest sailing inland vessel in the Netherlands. So everything is based on muscle power. The crew could use some help with hoisting the sails and operating the side swords. And if you really dare, you take over from the skipper.

Corona Protocol

Thanks to a government-approved corona protocol, you can get back on the road safely with Helena this summer. With fewer guests than before, but with at least as much fun!

Lunch tour with picnic on deck

The ship sails daily a short lunch trip from the fortified town of Hellevoetsluis. Helena sails up the Haringvliet from the quay in front of restaurant Aquarius. Here is plenty of opportunity for sailing. Pick up your freshly prepared lunch from the galley and enjoy it on deck!
