An impressive sailing trip around Skagen. This old shipping route is still little used due to the construction of the North and Baltic Sea Canal between Brünsbüttel and Kiel. Since 1895, seagoing vessels have sailed this route of approximately 250 nautical miles through the canal, instead of the old Hanseroute around Denmark. With the Artemis you can sail this old sea route to get from Bremerhaven to Kiel!
Every day brings its own adventure. In the morning the captain checks the latest weather reports and then plans the route for a great sailing day and a final destination. After a delicious breakfast, the sails are hoisted and a course is set for one of the beautiful Baltic Sea ports along the route around Skagen.
Possible ports of call are: Skagen – Gøteborg – Aarhus – Copenhagen – Fredericia – Sønderborg.
Once in port, enjoy dinner on board. Afterwards you can have a drink with fellow travelers in the cozy maritime lounge or go ashore in search of beautiful places.
Note: Wind and weather can affect the route.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
If you have dietary requirements or allergies, it is best to discuss this before booking. Often it is not a problem, but sometimes some cooperation is expected from the guests if special products have to be purchased, which will then have to be taken by the guests themselves, for example.
